Privacy policy

This page explains how Introduce.com.au handles information submitted through the site.

Last updated: 22 June 2026

Information we collect

When a listing is submitted, we may collect the provider or business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, location, description, services offered and the type of introductions requested.

We also collect basic website statistics such as page views, search activity, profile views, referral sources and listing approval activity. The starter stats system does not intentionally store plain IP addresses; it stores a non-reversible visitor hash for spam and usage checks.

How information is used

Submitted listing information is used to review, approve, reject and display listings. Approved profile information may be published on Introduce.com.au. Contact details submitted for public display may appear on the provider profile page.

Admin review before publication

Listings are not automatically public. They are stored as pending until reviewed by the site admin. Rejected listings are retained only for moderation records unless removed.

Storage and security

The first build stores listing and stats data in protected JSON files on the web hosting account. The data folder includes an access-deny file, but you should still use strong hosting passwords, SSL, secure admin passwords and regular backups.

Access and correction

To request access, correction or removal of a listing, contact admin@accesspositive.com.au.

Data breaches

If a data breach is suspected, Introduce.com.au should assess the incident, reduce risk, and notify affected people or regulators where required by applicable law.
